North American Sites

There are four study locations within the United States who will enrol participants into a longitudinal study with the option for brain donation at the time of death. There are additional locations in Canada with research ethics overseen by Clinical Trials Ontario and data shared locally with the central University of Chicago site. Each study location will recruit at least 100 participants, including SuperAgers and similarly aged, cognitively average-for-age Controls.

Since 2022, the Faculty of Health Sciences at Western University has been the Canadian home of the SuperAging Research Initiative.
